NEW BUILDINGS CONSECRATION CEREMONY - 16TH MAY, 2009

On 16th May, 2009 His Holiness the Tshengye Lopen from the central monastic body together with 13 other monks conducted the ritual ceremony for the consecreation of the new buildings namely the Leila girls hostel, the multipurpose hall and the new office block at CTAS campus in Kabesa. The ritual ceremony is conducted inorder to bless the new buildings and to overcome all the evil elements. The consecration of the new buildings was followed by a blessing ceremony for long life to all the general public.  More then 300 locals from around Kabesa gathered at the CTAS assembly ground to get the blessing. The guest of Honour, Mr David Bidwell, Vice President of the Himalayan Youth Foundation and other supporters and well wishers graced the ceremony.
